The Toronto Zoo is building a new outdoor habitat for the zoo’s six resident orangutans. The modern facility will be comprised of climbing structures, hills, streams, and a behavioural research station.

Maple Site Solutions Inc. was retained by Midome Construction to design, supply, and install the caisson and micropile foundations for the new structures to be built, including the new permanent shoring wall enclosure.

We were happy to be a part of this design-build team to provide a new habitat for Toronto’s orangutans.
