Reconstruction of Dundas Street – Burlington

Reconstruction of Dundas Street – Burlington

Halton Region’s “Dundas Street Improvements” project will address traffic demands and provide safe travel options for motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians, and includes road widening, new lookout points, new sidewalks, and new bike lanes.

Maple Site Solutions Inc. was retained by Dufferin Construction Company to design, supply, and install a temporary shoring system at the Tansley Bridge and the CN Rail Bridge. The scope of work included a pile and lagging, tieback anchors, and secant walls, for roadway and track protection systems. Our creative solutions and ability to handle many different shoring aspects has proven to be the right answer to all the tough demands of this project.

We’re proud to have been involved in this project, which will significanly improve a critical and major east-west corridor with more than 40,000 daily road users.
