The Project
Due to the rapidly growing population in Canada and the Woodstock area, The City of Woodstock is currently upgrading its infrastructure to support the increased growth in residential construction. The upgrade for a new Sewage Pumping station will allow for the existing and future growth of Woodstock.
The Challenge
To construct a new pumping station in poor and wet type 4 soil condition located adjacent to the existing road and storm water management pond.
The Solution
Due to the existing soil conditions and confines of this project, Maple Site Solutions Inc. was retained and implemented an internally braced secant wall shoring system.
