The Project
Removal of existing UV equipment, construction of new concrete channels in the adjacent location and installation of new UV equipment and associated appurtenances.
The Challenge
The requirement was to construct this project beside an active road to be maintained for access to a busy pedestrian path and dog park. In addition to the access constraints, a high water table was present that fed into the Thames River.
The Solution
In order to construct the new tank, Maple Site Solutions Inc. implemented a temporary secant wall to support the existing access road and to cut off ingress of any water into the proposed excavation.
