Removal and replacement of the existing parking garage required for an existing multi storey apartment building.
Due to the significant deterioration of the existing parking garage and its proximity to the structure to be removed, temporary shoring was identified as a requirement to support a significant existing bank at the rear and side of the property. The top of the bank was the edge of a road. Open cut excavation was not an option with some concerns that the existing roadway would be undermined.
Maple Site Solutions Inc. implemented a temporary shoring system to support the existing bank to allow for the demolition and construction of the new parking garage.
