The Project
Due to increased population and demand for housing, The First Street Pumping Station was proposed to support the existing proposed infrastructure.
The Challenge
Supporting a heavily loaded piece of equipment which required a stable platform to service the new Pumping Station. Poor soil conditions required a deep excavation to construct a foundation suitable for support of the new structure to prevent any settlement.
The Solution
Caisson foundations were implemented as the foundation of choice for support of the new structure due to reason of time and economy.
