The Project
Dana Canada is an industry leader that delivers technology to the greatest vehicles of yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Due to growth and expansion, Dana required a new press pit foundation for a new piece of equipment they had recently acquired.
The Challenge
The new structure was located within the existing facility, with foundations extending below the foundation of the existing facility. The proposed structure was located in an area where other structures and equipment could not be disturbed or compromised. Due to height restrictions, specialized equipment would be required to work within this facility.
The Solution
Maple Site Solutions Inc. was retained based on our design solution and construction methodology which took the restrictions and restraints in mind with no disruption impact to the existing facility. Maple Site Solutions Inc. implemented an unobstructed temporary shoring solution with tight access equipment.
