The Exchange District is a mixed-use development by Camrost Felcorp in the heart of Mississauga, adjacent to Square One shopping Centre and steps to the new Hurontario LRT transit system. Once complete, the four-tower master-planned community will consist of residential, retail and hotel units and over 20,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenities.

Maple Site Solutions Inc. was retained by Camcorp Construction to provide shoring services for Phase I and II of the Exchange District. The job required shotcrete shoring, micro-piles, and tiebacks. Specialized GFRP anchors were used instead of steel due to existing utilities on the City Centre and Burnhamthorpe sides of the excavation, where it is anticipated that within the next several years, excavation will be required to complete capacity upgrades.
